A Chinese stick which according to the family tradition has been brought home to Denmark by Poul Kinafarer himself. I am no expert in the style and age of Chinese antiques, but looking at the descendants through which the tea cup has been inherited we find at least one other seaman who sailed to China 100 years after Poul Kinafarer, so an investigation of the age of the stick is certainly relevant. Perhaps you can help?
The stick has been inherited by descendants of Poul Kinafarer's oldest son Hans Poulsen Storm through many generations and is in private ownership.
