This work is unusual in more than one aspect. Most of Howe's known works are from the 1920s and 1930s, whereas this one from 1901 is very early. More important, this work is an aquarel with a bit of gouache painting. Until this point in time, all other known works by Howe are oil paintings.

Fall in the Deer Park, 1915

Fall in the Deer Park

This forestscape filled with the sentiment of the fall was painted by Lauritz Howe in 1915. The motive is most likely from the King's Deer Park north of Copenhagen. I am the owner and seller of this painting. The price is 1,000 DKK (appr. 175 USD).
