For sale: Lauritz Howe, Fall in the Deer Park, 1915

Fall in the Deer Park

Lauritz Howe is one of the painters in whom I take an interest. But we only have so much space on our walls, which is why I am selling this painting full of the sentiment of the fall in the Deer Park north of Copenhagen.

Price: 1,000 DKK (appr. 185 USD).

Wanted: Xenius Rostock's book about Hugo Larsen

The Danish novelist and journalist Xenius Rostock published in 1950 a book: "Hugo Larsen - Dansk Vestindiens uovertrufne maler" ("Hugo Larsen - the Unsurpassed Painter of the Danish West Indies"). The book is appr. 60 pages in the format H:24 cm. x W:16.5 cm.

Scenery with Donkeys

I am interested in purchasing paintings, pastels, aquarels and drawings by the artist Hugo Larsen (1875-1950).

Of special interest are motives from the former Danish West Indies, from Italy and from Sorø.

If you own one or more of Hugo Larsen's works, but are not interested in selling, I would be very interested in hearing from you.
